PREVENTION OF BIRTH DEFECTS PREVENTION OF BIRTH DEFECTS
The SEA Regional Network has been able to bring together professional leadership from WHO's Member States in the South-East Asia Region to collaboratively work towards developing capacity in the field of strengthening newborn care and the prevention of birth defects.
Networks at the regional and national levels are being facilitated and coordinated by WHO's Collaborating Centers at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, India. WHO’s Regional Office for South-East Asia and the National Center on Birth Defects and Developmental Disabilities, CDC, USA support these endeavors.
Through monthly Eblasts and quarterly E-Newsletters, the Regional Network proposes to keep its' members informed of recent developments, whilst sustaining the momentum of their existing professional engagement.
